New York, NY – The Catholic Channel, which is broadcast nationwide on Sirrus radio, will feature a special interview with a priest and couple involved with Worldwide Marriage Encounter on Tuesday, Feb. 5th at 7:30 am.

The Seize the Day show, hosted by Gus Lloyd, will conduct a 20 minute live interview with Fr. Gerry Bolduc, O.M.I. and Dick & Diane Baumbach. The three of them serve as the Ecclesial Team for WWME in the Southeast United States, The Bahamas and the Virgin Islands.

Fr. Bolduc was initially selected to participate on the show’s segment called Everyday Heroes because of the impact he made on the lives of a South Florida couple who attended a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend. He said that he believes that since Worldwide Marriage Encounter is a ministry involving married couples it was obvious that the Baumbach’s, who serve in a leadership role with him, should participate in the interview.
 
Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekends start on a Friday evening and end on Sunday afternoon. Couples hear a presentation by a couple and priest and are asked to write down their thoughts and feelings, then go to share in the privacy of their room. There is no group discussion.Weekends are held in various locations, including hotels and retreat centers.
 
There is a cost for the weekend, but in the 40 year history of Worldwide Marriage Encounter, no couple has ever been turned away from attending a weekend because of lack of money.
 
Worldwide Marriage Encounter is a non-profit organization and all donations from the weekend are used to continue offering additional weekends throughout the country and the world.
